Jana Ghalayini

Jana Ghalayini (b.1993) is a Saudi-born Palestinian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate of OCAD University where received her BFA in printmaking, and was the recipient of the 2017 medal for her program. Her work explores identity and culture by creating metaphorical yet fragmented representations of memories, home and a sense of place. Jana works closely with a range of mediums including screen-printing, photography and textiles that allow her to translate her emotions into a physical form and create works that act as visual narratives.

Melanie Billark

Melanie Billark is an emerging, multidisciplinary, Toronto based artist. Her body of work surrounds themes of social and political issues that effect and surround principles of ecology. Her work strives to create awareness to various environmental issues within the public sphere.     Melanie achieved an advanced diploma in 2011 at Sheridan College’s Craft and Design Program for glass in Oakville, ON. Following her degree she completed a year artist residency at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, ON, in 2012. Melanie graduated from OCADU's Sculpture and Installation program, obtaining her BFA in 2016. Jessica Gaba

Jessica (Xhesika) Gaba is a Toronto based multidisciplinary artist, working in digital video, text/ print, installation, biomedia and performance. By rearranging archives of knowledge she aims to produce new navigation systems for orienting a variety of socioeconomic contexts.
